A new product concept is being developed, and you’ll provide input on technical challenges. As the concept takes shape, you will advise on PCB requirements and components in collaboration with the CTO and Senior Electrical Engineer. Collaborating with industrial designers and the mechanical engineer, you’ll create smarter solutions for efficient and effective electronics boards. With a design schematic established, you’ll place components and route the PCB for the first prototype. The initial version will be sent to the manufacturer for feedback. During evaluation, you will ensure electronic integrity, resolve issues, and proactively address potential problems. As the product moves into production, you’ll work with technical teams to debug and resolve issues, finding root causes and preventing recurrence. You’ll regularly communicate with the Taiwan team, including the team leader and project manager, as well as the CTO during development and problem-solving phases. • REMOTE WORK Wooting team works remotely from home, shared spaces, or cafes. Once the concept takes shape, you’ll collaborate with the industrial designer and electronic engineer to brainstorm cost-efficient mechanical solutions. You’ll refine the design with the industrial designer, integrating solutions into 3D models and pre-testing concepts via 3D printing. During prototyping, you’ll ensure the integrity of mechanical parts, materials, and assembly, addressing issues with the team and manufacturer. After production, you’ll analyze customer feedback, resolve issues, and propose improvements for future iterations. Alongside, you’ll explore new mechanical solutions to enhance products, reduce costs, and develop your skills. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Taiwan and communicate with the CEO on new developments and problem-solving. • TAIWAN OFFICE The team works remotely, with optional offices in the Netherlands, Taichung, and Taipei for collaboration and resources. Since production is fixed for three months, you collaborate with vendors to find solutions, such as delaying purchases or reallocating stock.
