About the Position:
The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience and will be responsible for planning and reviewing engagements, interacting with clients and preparing audit, reviewing and compiling financial statements for clients listed in SEC.
Responsibilities:
• Preforms audits of SEC and private clients in various industries including but not
limited to commercial markets i.e. manufacturing, technology and consumer
products
• Coordinates the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
• Stays current on technical and industry developments and standards while
evaluating potential impacts on their client engagements
• Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of SEC regulations and PCAOB
guidelines, and documents and communicatesthe application of these principles
• Prepares SEC filings, financial statements and disclosures for appropriateness in
form, content, completeness, and accuracy, and ensures that quarterly reviews are
properly performed
• Acts as client contact; communicates effectively with clients and developss positive
relationships with client personnel
• Conducts research, consults with team members, draws conclusions and prepares
memos based on target issues
• Communicates with Partner on work status and client issues that arise
• Keeps up to date on U.S. GAAP laws and regulations
Internal Control System Design:
Provides suggestions on the design of internal control system to ensure the alignment of relevant regulations and the effectiveness and efficiency of the system.
Internal Audits:
1. Plans, organizes and carries out the regular in-house audit examinations, writes concise audit reports, and provides senior management with recommendations on the systems and procedures being reviewed, and on significant findings in order to comply with local regulations and to mitigate possible risks.
- Regular report.
- Conducts ad hoc audits upon request.
2. Communicates fully with the audited unit about the audit results and any deficiencies and irregularities of the internal control system identified in inspection, and follows up on the matters and prepares follow-up reports to be reported to the board of directors until correction is made, to ensure that the relevant departments have taken appropriate corrective actions in a timely manner.
3. Supports the department head to update functional internal control systems following each change of local regulations.
4. Assists in dealing with the examination of FEB and the relevant government bodies of four government funds such as Labor Retirement Fund etc., acting as a contact window.
5. Conduct regular reports required by regulations to the competent authority, or the institution designated by the competent authority for recordation.
Self-Assessment and Declaration Statement of Internal Control System:
1. Provides suggestions on the assessment programs and procedures.
2. Reviews and submits the self-assessment reports, together with the reports on the correction of deficiencies and irregularities of the internal control system identified by the audit department, as a primary basis for the board of directors and general manager to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the enterprise's internal control system and to produce a Declaration Statement of Internal Control System.

Context / Dimensions
The scope of the position will typically cover clients within the region of the role holder however some wider UK delivery may be required. The role is home-based.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
• Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and prescribed time frame.
• Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate.
• Ensure that value is added to customers and their business/organisation through the assessment of their systems and processes against BSI requirements
• Continually enhance & uphold the reputation and perception of BSI through excellent planning, delivery, report writing and day-to-day interactions with customers and other key stakeholders

• Coach colleagues as appropriate especially where those members are inexperienced assessors or unfamiliar with clients' business/technology and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested.

• Be an active member of the Service Delivery Team and proactively engage with peers and key stakeholders to ensure continual improvement, in line with the BSI standards of Assessor Excellence.

• Proven industry experience/knowledge/qualifications related to area of expertise
• Demonstrates knowledge of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards.
• Engaging & highly skilled communicator, able to convey clear messages in a compelling and coherent way
• Excellent presentation skills, able to present assessment findings professionally and effectively, often through formal stand-up presentation to a group of senior managers and Directors.
• Ability to produce high quality professional reports at a reasonable pace, explaining technical issues and demonstrating added value.
• Proven administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage customer expectations
• Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to adapt style to a variety of situations
• Effective relationship builder through a personable, consultative approach
• Computer literate with experience of basic microsoft packages
• Energy and commitment to undertake the role, which can be very demanding, working within different premises every day, being in front of the client and constantly on the move.

6. Participate in the internal audit task for ISO 27001.

Job Requirement:
1. Minimum four years of internal/external audit experience.
2. Big 4 experience is a plus.
3. IT General Controls (ITGC) audit experience is a plus.
4. Familiar with the risk-based audit.
5. Knowledge of SOX 404 compliance.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
7. Ability to work independently and as a part of team.
8. CPA, CIA, or CISA is a plus.
1. Develop and review the system and chip safety architectures and market trends
2. Communicate and coordinate safety designs with HW teams
3. Develop function safety fault injection simulation flow.
4. Co-work with BU design verification teams to achieve pre-silicon verification of hardware safety requirements
5. Review system safety analysis (ex: FMEDA, DFA, FMEA)
6. Review the implementation effectiveness and work output of ISO 26262 project activities for automotive products
7. Systematic maintenance and establishment of ISO 26262 related standards (ex: ALM, MEDINI)

1. Plan and execute internal audits and special projects to evaluate the risks and the effectiveness of related controls.
2. Prepare reports for each engagement and communicate audit observations with corporate, regional, and local management. Apply problem solving skills to issues and provide practical and constructive recommendations.
3. Develop credibility and trust with operating functions to value-add internal controls and management.
4. Monitor changes in Company policies and procedures to align with the applicable Regulations, Standards, and industry practices.
• Participate in all phases of the Company’s existing Sarbanes Oxley 404 efforts (business and IT controls) in conjunction with Corporate Audit team. This includes, but is not limited to, risk assessment and audit scoping, planning, and execution of testing, providing recommendations to management, and evaluating the financial reporting impact of aggregated control deficiencies based on knowledge of GAAP.
• Identify SOX impact of changes in the control environment due to changes in regulations and make determinations for changes to existing controls or adding new controls when necessary.
• Partner with stakeholders/management and provide recommendations and perspective on risk and control issues.
• Actively seek opportunities to develop new audit processes or implement improvements to existing audit processes to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Company’s audit department.
• Identify and recommend strategies to drive audit efficiency through automation, standardization and streamlining of activities and continuously looking for ways to improve internal audit approaches, tools and methodologies, and productivity.
