What you'll be doing:
• Be the first line HRBP to Regional Leaders, providing coaching, guidance and thought partnership that aligns with business goals and outcomes.
• Work closely with Regional Leaders and be familiar with Business Unit leaders and Business Consultants, supporting their career growth.
• Provide a smooth and efficient HR operations across multiple locations in Taiwan
• Translate global standards to local policies and procedures and drive the best HR practice
• Oversee the establishment and development of the HR Shared Services team to provide operational support to the global HR community
• Provide analytics and consultation to developing and implementing effective total reward solutions achieving business needs and maintain market competitiveness
• Identify and drive employee development initiatives. Partner with HQ Learning and Development on design and delivery of training programs
• Create and implement employee retention initiatives
• Monitor legal updates to stay abreast of compliance requirements and propose internal control standards; Make recommendations for policy, procedure and process modifications, implementing and communicating on approved changes
• Promote employee relations, build and nurture company culture in conjunction with local leadership. Support global HR team to implement global HR programs and initiatives
• Act as business partner within North Asia Regional office on HR related issues, identifying issues and liaise on solutions. Ensure compliance with Labor Law / Ordinance.
• Participate in ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned
• Assist for the monthly Payroll and monthly HR report.
• Plans and advise on all people related matters, including but not limited to, talent planning (including, hiring, development plans) performance action plans, development plans, disciplinary action, and terminations. Builds and maintains strong relationship with the legal, finance, development, and central operations teams.
• Analyze internal and industry data to identify cultural shifts or trends. Leverages data to support recommendations and guidance.
• Identify current and long-term talent needs and serves as a strategic thought partner to the leadership team as they formulate their talent goals.
