- SHE, Quality & Security, Compliance and Management Systems:
- Ensure compliance with relevant local laws and regulations; Envalior SHE, Manufacturing, Quality and Security Requirements; ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements; and RoHS, REACH, GMP and relevant customer requirements in the department.
- Ensure that Envalior Life Saving Rules are followed in the department.
- Show leadership to promote safety and quality awareness and behavior in department.
- Participate as an active member of the Site Management Team for the Company’s safety, quality and environmental performance.
- Ensure a PPM system for the production plants and the site facilities is well established, maintained and effective.
- Manage and continuously improve the operations in the Maintenance Department. Implement and monitor the improvements of the efficiency and the lowering of the maintenance costs through operational excellence.
- Set targets and KPIs, continually analyze the performance and ensure adequate management reporting of the performance of the Maintenance Department.
- Contribute to the improvement of the overall performance of the Site by participating in the Site Management Team
- Define budget for the Maintenance and allocate resources and spending within approved budget.
- Work closely with and support the production plants and the other functions on the site to ensure smooth operations and meeting business/company requirements.
- Analyze equipment performance using root cause analysis and/or other superior performance analysis tools.
- Accountable for implementing small projects to improve the reliability of the plant.
- Ensure timely purchasing of MRO materials, keeping a minimum stock of critical items.
- Manage contractors for maintenance jobs, provide guidance and control and evaluate their performance, both for technical aspects and for SHE and Quality aspects.
- Set up documentation management system and ensure files are timely updated
- Regularly report to the Site Management on the performance regarding SHE, machine availability, cost control, IP, PPM etc.
- Execute HR policies and procedures (recruitment, appraisal, development, training, etc.). Ensure the short-term and long-term availability of a competent workforce.
1). Maintenance Order Budget Approver
To approve maintenance job estimates for scheduling up to a defined amount of money
Responsible for reviewing maintenance job estimates for completeness
Responsible for approving for scheduling.
2). Maintenance Budget Holder
Responsible for:
Defining the maintenance budget according to relevant maintenance characteristics, like: manufacturing policy, maintenance plan, plant section, order type, maintenance activity type and priority.
Analyzing and controlling the maintenance budget based on e.g. PM reports on a regular basis.
Developing proposals for an optimized maintenance budget.
3). Maintenance Owner
Responsible for:
Defining a maintenance plan, setting priorities, KPIs, and targets supporting the Manufacturing plan.
Analyzing the operational content and continuous improving of the maintenance including the PPM plan.
Knowledge and educational level
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above in mechanical engineering or E&I.
2. Knowledge in working processes and SHE requirements.
3. Good knowledge in engineering discipline and installation standards.
4. Good leading and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player with good coaching skills and have the capability to challenge and drive the team to achieve higher performance
5. Balanced temperament, able to work under pressure and prioritize.
6. Ability to work within multicultural and international environment
7. Good spoken and written skills in English and Mandarin.
8. Strong communication skills.
9. Strong learning capability and problem solving skills.
