1. Collaborates closely with the local and group commercial team to support key
relationships with customers allowing us to receive RFQs & bid requests on
upcoming cargo movements or infrastructure projects within Taiwan and other
regional locations.
2. Upon handover from the commercial team, review & understand contract T&C’s
and services sold to the customer. Lead to assign & delegate work to respective
coordinator and operations staff for work execution.
3. Lead the pre-operations meetings with customers, vendors & authorities for key
freight arrangements taking place and monitoring the team.
4. Develops & maintains good relationships with key stakeholders such as existing
customers, shipping & airfreight carriers, 3rd party agents & suppliers, customs
officials, port authorities, network partners and related government agencies.
5. For existing customers, leads & handles all OOG air and sea charter freight
quotation opportunities received based on the customers’ requirements.
6. Ensure projects are executed efficiently and delivery is made on time with updates
to customers.
7. Oversees a compliant vendor list & review vendor rates and performance bi-yearly.
8. Initiates cost savings through operating efficiency enhancements & procurement

Job Description
● Daily accounting transaction review, including Accounts Payable, GL, and Outgoing Payment for site offices in APAC region (Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippine)

AA. Job Description:
As an Operation Executive, your principal job will be to plan where ships are to berth so that their cargo can be either loaded or discharged. The will include the calculation of the number of port operatives requires to load and unload in a safe and timely manner.
The Operation Executive works closely with other management personnel to ensure that they can carry out their job with the greatest efficiency thereby ensuring client and organizational targets are met.
Managing safety is a key aspect of the Operation Executive’s job as ports can be extremely dangerous and hazardous places to work. It is vital, therefore, that you inspect and ensure all working areas are safe and that port operatives engaged to carry out work have been properly trained and understand the strict health and safety rules that apply within port environments.
As an Operation Executive, you will liaise daily with other port users such as freight customers and shipping agents. You will also develop close working relationships with the Port Authorities and Customers.
BB. Key skills and qualifications of an Agency Manager:
To qualify as an Operation Executive will have previous experience within a shipping agency and ideally you will also be educated to a degree level.
Strong interpersonal skills are a critical requirement of this role as well as excellent written and presentational skills.
As an Operation Executive, as you will be working closely with Client, Ship Owner, Port Authorities, and Vendors. It is important that you understand legal requirements and have a full understanding of all procedures.
An Operation Executive must be numeric and be able to problem-solve under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
You must be familiar with industry-standard software and be fully competent in Microsoft Windows.
