• Work closely with the leadership team to set category-specific goals and constantly evaluate performance metrics
Assortment Planning and Product Selection:
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to curate a diverse and high-quality product assortment that meets customer demands.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify gaps or opportunities within the category and make informed decisions on product selection.
Pricing and Promotions:
• Develop pricing strategies to drive sales, maintain competitive pricing levels, and maximize profitability.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, such as discounts and deals, to increase customer engagement and drive revenue growth.
Vendor Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and negotiate advantageous contracts to secure the best products and deals for Coupang and its customers. - Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and collaborate on improvement plans to ensure seamless integration and high operational standards.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Manage a team of category managers, analysts, and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the category team, driving employee engagement and growth.
