A Wind Turbine Pre-assembly technician will work alongside a team of well-trained professionals to maintain facilities surrounding wind turbines and maintain the turbines themselves. Part of this role will include basic cleaning and maintenance on the site surrounding the wind turbines.
Therefore a high level of attention to safety regulations and the industry is important for overall safety on the job.
Typical onshore duties for Pre-assembly and installation include:
• Participate in Pre-assembly and installation of Wind Turbines.
• Check and supervise that quality measures and safety instructions are being
respected.
• Check and supervise the selection and usage of special tools and equipment.
• Participate in training organized by GWS.
• Plan your own work ahead.
• Inspection and maintenance of safety gear, company cars, tools and other GWS
properties.

8. 確認工作報告/工作時間完整度,並與會計/客戶合作確認相關請款事項

• Lead and manage Taiwanese and foreign technicians in executing tasks.
• Communicate and coordinate both within projects and across projects to ensure compliance with customer and company safety regulations.
• Ensure operations adhere to planning and meet the standards of customer work instructions.
• Supervise the planning and procurement of tools and materials needed for maintenance and operations to ensure tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Assist warehouse management in inspecting personal protective equipment(PPE) to ensure compliance for technician use.
• Handle, improve, prevent, and follow up on safety incidents.
• Establish good relationships with clients to ensure service quality.
• Verify the completeness of work reports and work hours and collaborate with accounting and clients to confirm related invoice matters.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Performs, supervises, trains and ensures safety during completion work and troubleshooting in all installation and completion aspects.
Tasks including but not limited to:
- Perform, supervise, train and ensure safety during mechanical and electrical completion as well as commissioning and snagging.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical or system malfunctions.
- Secure the WTG and its systems prior to initiating any work.
- Provide first-line supervision and direction in area of responsibility, promote responsible attitudes towards HSE. HSE responsible for activities under their supervision.
- Ensure that work is conducted according to the defined workflow and work instructions.
- Mentor and share knowledge within area of responsibility.
- Support on-job-training as requested and maintains logbooks, where required.
- Keep records, maintain documentation and report as required by company policy.
- Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy. If the specific tasks require work performed under LOTO the procedure PRO 18914 has to be followed (for OF the procedure “INS 29465 Log Out/Tag Out Instruction Offshore” has to be followed).
