Crew Management
●Coordinate crew changes and rotations in line with contracts, rest hours, and preferences
●Manage crew schedules to ensure timely relief and proper handovers
●Handle crew-related matters, including disputes, welfare, discipline, visa, and work permits
Documentation & Compliance
●Ensure all contracts, visas, and certificates are complete and compliant with regulations
●Stay updated on changes in maritime labor laws to maintain compliance
●Communication & Coordination
●Liaise with vessel owners, operators, and internal teams to fulfill crewing requirements
●Maintain clear communication with seafarers to provide updates, support, and boost morale
Recruitment & Selection
●Source, screen, and interview candidates for various maritime positions
●Review qualifications, certifications, and experience to match job requirements
●Maintain a pool of qualified seafarers to meet vessel staffing needs
Performance Monitoring
●Implement systems to track and evaluate seafarer performance
●Work with operations to address issues and apply corrective actions
Emergency Handling
●Execute contingency plans for emergencies involving crew (e.g., medical or onboard incidents)
●Ensure prompt and effective response in crisis situations
