Position Summary -
Information Technology department aims to provide secure, stable and trustworthy IT services including hardware and software to fulfill business goals, development and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities -
Owns the accountability of overall end-to-end IT operations. Lead local and overseas IT teams to achieve the business and department goals, fulfill function’s demands by systematic thinking and well planning.
Lead the applications lifecycle management, including delivery, daily operations, change and issue fix.
Lead IT teams to prioritize tasks, manage project plans include analysis, design, review and reports to fulfill IT targets.
Establish operational targets and decisions to achieve operational effectiveness and efficiency by cost-effective ways, ensure all IT groups continuously deliver services and fulfill function requirements; also act as a 2nd level in escalation framework to manage all IT issues.
Ensure the normal IT Operation and report rhythm to leaders on an organized manner.
Assist IT leader to manage the performance of department and staffs based on IT plans and annual goals.
Assist IT leader to lead, coach and train IT direct-reports by setting expectations, performance reviews and career growth opportunities.
Explore and acquire new IT solutions based on the requirements of technology and process perspectives.
Actively build the relationship with stakeholders, realize and transform demands to IT services.
Utilize project management methodology to lead and manage the development, operation and problem solving of IT services.
Utilize LEAN methodology to make continuous improvements. Collaborate with IT groups and stakeholders to explore, justify and prioritize the opportunities.
Manage suppliers and contracts of IT services. Participate negotiations and discussions across functions, IT groups and suppliers to build IT solutions for businesses.
Ensure all changes on IT application systems are tested per requirements before production, including those due to the upgrade, patching and compliance according to policy and regulations.
Evaluate IT risks, establish associated IT contingency plans based on defined and agreed service scope and level.
Ensure IT management and support follows the processes of Incident, Problem and Change, and instructs IT groups by necessary technology and leadership.
Provide IT solution options according to all constraints and analysis, manage the procurement of hardware and software to achieve expectations on benefits (ROI, VOI), and oversee the change on cost plan.
