Leadership:

Management of Suppliers & Sub-contractors:
Identify and engage suitable suppliers and sub-contractors for various construction activities and/or project bidding processes.
Manage the condition of contracts and agreements with suppliers and sub-contractors in terms of construction
Monitor and coordinate the work of suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Efficiently manage supplier payments and invoicing processes.
Engagement during Development Phase:
Collaborate with the project development team to provide construction insights and expertise during the planning, design stages and bidding stages.
Review construction-related documents, such as drawings, specifications, tender requirements, and provide feedback as needed.
Identify potential construction challenges and propose innovative solutions.
Contribute to the optimization of designs, construction methodologies and schedule.
RFP / Tender Stage:
Participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including evaluating bids and selecting the construction sub-contractors.
Negotiate and finalize contractual terms and conditions with the selected sub-contractors in terms of construction
Develop and manage the construction budget, ensuring cost effectiveness and adherence to project requirements.
Project Delivery Phase:
Lead the construction activities for the projects (Civil, Tunnel or Bridge), ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budget.
Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
Collaborate closely with the project team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to guide and oversee on-site activities.
Develop and implement construction strategies, methodologies, and quality control processes.
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.
Identify and resolve construction-related challenges and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct regular inspections and quality control assessments to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Manage project resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of construction activities, progress reports, and budgets.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting effective communication and collaboration among team members
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, providing regular updates on project progress.
Understand and address client requirements and concerns throughout the construction/tender processes.
Ensure client satisfaction and timely resolution of any issues or disputes.
Team Building & Delivery:
Recruit, train, and manage the construction team, ensuring the right skillset and resources are available.
Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
Monitor and manage team workload and allocation of resources.
Strategy & Innovation:
Identify and implement innovative construction techniques and technologies to enhance project efficiency and delivery.
Continuously evaluate and improve construction processes, workflows, and safety practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
