Role Purpose
Patient Solution Partner supports Roche Taiwan to deliver sustainable and comprehensive solutions for patients to quickly & easily access our innovations across the product lifecycle, ranging from pre-approval access programs, pre-reimbursement, and mature products. The scope of Patient Solutions (PS) includes programs and tools that broaden & expedie disease diagnosis, treatment and adherence.
This person is a trusted partner by internal and external stakeholders, who is capable to digest insights from eligible patient data, in-hospital process stakeholders’ and vendor’s feedback, translate into strategic narratives to support the DA team's decision making, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill access needs and opportunities by developing and implementing patient solutions (including patient support programs or PSPs) which address the issues.
A key responsibility of this role is to maintain high performance of PS programs which includes meeting patient & customer needs, remaining in compliance of local regulations, and achieving company objectives
Key Deliverables
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to create patient centric strategies, projects, and/or activities that may benefit more patients.
- Work with global/regional/other affiliates to develop and implement the elevated P360 platform (internal PS database) locally.
- Collaborate with Marketing, field-based Patient Journey Partners (PJP) and Heathcare Systems Partner (HSP), Medical and Access teams to identify patient access gaps/opportunities, develop solutions and ways of implementation, to improve drug access and experience within patient journey (including out of pocket/reimbursement scheme, e.g. early enrollment, adherence, etc.)
- Develop operating framework to drive PSP excellence, including assessing risks & effectiveness, in key DA/accounts, in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively seek opportunities for driving operating effectiveness. Align DA/brand strategies to optimize PSP operations, provide systemic/integrated views, improve overall process and system effectiveness/efficiency.
- Oversee external service providers to ensure compliance of the Roche code of conduct and also local regulations; ensure all existing and under-developing PSPs comply with Patient Solution Binding Principle.
- Mobilize expertise and resources locally and from the network as needed, including in collaboration with other affiliates

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in relevant fields, including pharmacy, nursing, or public health. An advanced (Master) degree is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in government, hospital, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Good understanding of the healthcare environment.
- Business acumen to understand broader implications of PS programs.
- Experience of managing external vendors
- Strong ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize with minimal guidance & Attention to details.
- Strong understanding of compliance principles,SOP creation and adherence
- Fluent in English communication.
