This is a full-function HR role, meaning you’ll be at the forefront of all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition and payroll to employee engagement and compliance. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, excels at problem-solving, and has a knack for developing systems that empower teams to succeed. What you will be doing • Leading end-to-end recruitment processes to ensure the timely onboarding of toptier talent. You will be working with a full-time internal recruiter. • Managing payroll, benefits administration, and tax-related processes to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Overseeing employee relations, fostering a positive work environment, and driving engagement initiatives. • Ensuring all HR policies and practices align with local labor laws and regulations. • Acting as a trusted advisor to management by providing data-driven insights and HR solutions. • Developing and implementing performance management systems and training programs. • Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems for efficiency and accuracy. • Partnering with cross-functional teams to address interdepartmental HR needs. • Driving initiatives related to workplace culture and employee well-being. Requirements What we are looking for • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • 4+ years of experience in a full-function HR role, preferably in a multinational environment. • Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance standards. • Proficiency in Excel and familiar with HRMS. • Proven experience in C&B, recruitment, employee relations, and policy development. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of collaborating across departments. • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Advanced proficiency in English reading and writing, as well as effective communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points) • HR certifications. • Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (Class B) license. • Valid English proficiency certification (e.g., TOEIC, IELTS, or TOEFL). • Manage the payroll process for both hourly and monthly salaried employees. • Accurately calculate and process payroll, including standard deductions, taxes, overtime, shift allowances, commissions, and bonuses. • Ensure proper accounting, distribution, and processing of payroll payments, managing benefits, tax withholdings, and deductions. • Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, including social insurance, tax laws, and other mandatory contributions. • Post payroll data and generate payslips with accurate and detailed information (e.g., names, working days, pay rates, deductions). • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll queries and individual salary details. • Administer the Human Capital Management (HCM) HR and Payroll system, ensuring smooth system operations. • Handle social insurance processes, including the enrollment and withdrawal of employees, and adjust salary ranges as required. • Generate and reconcile payroll reports for corporate and local management teams. • Develop and manage payroll policies and procedures for the Taiwan office. • Assess and calculate the impact of changes in employee populations, laws, or regulations on payroll. • Provide expert counsel and advice on payroll-related matters to management. • Maintain and monitor employee attendance records, ensuring alignment with leave, time-off requests, and accrued balances. • Manage Paid Time Off (PTO) and other leave management processes. • Oversee payroll tax management, including monthly and annual filing and reporting of individual income tax (IIT). • Perform daily administrative tasks, such as maintaining payroll records and relevant documentation. • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including wage standards, tax withholdings, and social security contributions. • Lead special projects related to payroll processing and improvement initiatives. • Perform other duties as required by management.
