What You Will Do (Job Description) • Work with global team, cross functional team and customer to understand requirement and provide design solutions. • Make significant contributions to design, development, and validation of different solutions (mainly on connector and cable design). • 3D models creation, 2D concept drawings creation and modification, BOMs management, DFM review with supplier, communicate with customer, and clarify the VOC with customer in short time. • Perform mechanical design analysis, simulation, testing reports and DFMEA. • Conducts feasibility studies for new projects leveraging existing designs while also generating new designs and IP, drives consistency and thoroughness across portfolio. • Support internal design, engineering, prototyping and validation activities. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. • 3+ years of related experience in a professional role • Be able to check internal doc and mail in English. • Possesses thorough understanding of the mechanical development process. • Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting. • Engineering Design Software: NX (preferred), AutoCAD, etc. • Knowledge in PCB, Finish, assembly process, product development process. • Create and maintain the database based on existing component level and cable product level by office software, Excel. • Create guideline and drawing template according to customer’s needs. SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED: • Problem Solving: Offer solutions and efficient responses to meet customer requirements operating within the company guidelines and goals. • Decision Making: Make efficient decisions meeting customer requirements. • Communication skills to liaise with internal and external contacts. • Negotiation skills to get mutual agreement and benefits. PREFERRED: The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible and demonstrate genuine interest in customer needs with sense of urgency.
