This is an exciting time to join our team as we are seeking to grow our sales outside of the United States. Your focus will be to grow and manage clients and contribute to the national growth of the business.
On top of building your own portfolio of clients, the role will include the management of existing client relationships. The regional Business Developer must be skilled and willing to hit the ground running. At a minimum, the BD will be responsible for the following areas:
• Managing a key client portfolio within our client mix of corporates, designers and architects to ensure we remain their supplier of choice.
• Actively identifying business growth opportunities with existing clients and introducing new clients.
• Ensuring sales margins/targets are met.
• Liaising with key internal and external parties to ensure all orders have seamless delivery.
Job requires:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Supply/procurement experience in the hospitality industry is a must (eg. Furniture, Carpet, Curtain, Lighting, etc…).
• An interest in interiors, furniture and design are beneficial.
• A people person with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Confident and passionate about building professional client relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Career driven and self-motivated employee.
• Results-driven & no excuses attitude.
