<Position Purpose>
The Senior Marketing Coordinator for Taiwan will support in the effective and relevant execution of marketing initiatives in line with Aesop’s positioning and philosophy. In this role, you will work collaboratively with marketing manager, the team and stakeholders to raise brand awareness of Aesop in Taiwan, create customer acquisition through marketing initiatives through PR, Product Marketing, Customer Events, Partnership and Wholesale.
You will be responsible for leading, coordinating and executing such projects, which will require you to connect and engage with relevant communities on the Retail, PR, Wholesale and CRM level. An active team- player as well as working independently will be important.
<MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES>
Brand
Understand the Aesop strategy and brand values and ensure that all local marketing activity is consistent with that strategy and those values.
Marketing
- Develop and execute marketing plans and strategies for global campaigns and local campaigns, new store openings and local activities via Marketing 360 approach, all in conjunction with global and regional strategy, brand values, business needs and guidelines.
- Create product USP and brand surprise based on understanding of market trend and customer behavior, work closely with CRM Team.
- Engage deeper with existing media & advocates & partners and expand new contacts of relevant, brand-aligned organizations and partners for new Marketing, PR and Wholesale opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with retail management team to understand retail needs to provide accurate marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate production of all communication materials to meet launch deadlines by liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Operational
- Provide accurate and timely marketing, PR and administrative support to the Marketing Manager on a daily basis.
- Provide competitors & market information and conduct new product forecast.
- Consolidate monthly PR reports and update quarterly regional amenity report.
- Manage amenity partner requests and corporate sales requests, work collaboratively with local logistic and finance team.
- Responsible to keep the store/counter information up to the date and ensure it is reflected on all required channels.
- Monitor inventory control for samples and collaterals.
- Assist in maintaining marketing budget and keep track of all expenses for marketing activities to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Work with agency for full communication orchestration.
