1. Ensure compliance with relevant EHS regulations. Understanding legislative trends in EHS-related regulations
2. Ensure Lab waste management and Toxic chemical management in compliance with local laws.
3. Manage all necessary safety related compliance documents and monitor actions
taken.
4. Educate and train all employees and vendors on safety and hygiene functions to
enable a safety mindset first and be able to understand and comply with
safety regulations and laws, and the organization's safety policies and standards.
5. Lead and take the initiatives to carry out safety activities to embrace and enhance a safety culture.
6. Encourage employees’ safety awareness. and proactively notify in the event of accidents or disasters.
7. Fire and emergency response planning and training.
8. Internal and external audits and internal environmental safety inspections.
9. Other tasks related to EHS may be assigned.
10. Undertake other works assigned by the supervisor.

Due to a significant growth in our business in Taiwan, our E&C (Engineering and Construction) BU is looking for a "HSE Manager", who plays a critical role in ensuring and enhancing a safe and secure work environment for our project site.
【Principal Duties & Responsibilities】
1. You will be the Safety Champion – Guide teams on all HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) matters from project start to finish.
2. Develop & Improve Safety Systems – Build HSES plans, emergency response, and security procedures to keep sites safe.
3. Ensure Compliance – Make sure all subcontractors follow Air Liquide’s safety standards.
4. Lead Risk Management – Identify high-risk activities, create mitigation plans, and ensure zero incidents.
5. Train & Educate – Develop and run HSES training for teams to stay sharp and informed.
6. Oversee Safety Audits & Inspections – Run site safety meetings, audits, and reviews to maintain top safety levels.
7. Enforce Work Permit Procedures – Ensure everyone follows the Permit to Work process before starting risky tasks.
8. Investigate & Solve Incidents – Lead accident investigations, find the root cause, and prevent future risks.
9. Report & Improve – Track safety performance and continuously enhance processes.
10. Lead the Team and work with team – Manage and guide HSES engineers to make safety a team effort and support in coaching new project site HSE manager.
