▋ 封裝工程師實習職務說明
Business Summary:
SC Packaging organization creates innovative technologies that enable small package sizes, enhanced reliability, and increased performance in areas including power density, isolation, and signal integrity.
Interface across various work areas and organizations to help with the design, development, and analysis of different semiconductor packaging technologies to enable differentiation for TI's analog and embedded processing products. Assignments may include participation in cross-functional teams to develop internal and external solutions for semiconductor packaging technologies, including Wirebond, Flip Chip, Modules, SIPs and other advanced packages at different stages of readiness. Cultivate packaging advancements with work in material, mechanical, thermal, and electrical characterization. TI's innovative packaging technologies are designed to solve customers' problems by delivering advances in miniaturization, integration, high reliability, high performance, and low power.

▋ 廠務工程師實習職務說明
Facilities Engineering interns will receive significant projects related to their Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Controls, or Civil studies that are challenging and beneficial to the facilities organization.
Electrical Engineering interns will often have projects related to power distribution systems that ensure 100% uptime of the manufacturing equipment.
Mechanical Engineering interns may work issues related to thermodynamics, heat transfer, gas and fluid mechanics, process control or HVAC and psychometric processes. Most projects will support advanced micro-electronics manufacturing operations.
Chemical Engineering interns will often work with over fifty types of chemicals and gases that are used in the production of semiconductors.
All intern projects often include the following responsibilities:
• Analyzing existing mechanical systems to troubleshoot problems and improve operating efficiencies (i.e., reduce operating and maintenance costs), improve reliability and/or regain capacity, etc.
• Working with programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) to automate the Facilities systems, also known as Controls Engineering
• Using flow and pressure monitoring equipment to generate useful graphical data for communications
• Responsibility for static, dynamic design, and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages
• Conducting feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
• Providing design information to drafting for packaging documentation
• Planning plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment
• Reviewing and estimating design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs
• Developing criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment, required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes

▋技術行銷工程師實習職務說明
• 透過TI海內外跨部門的合作,進而了解產品從設計,開發,量產,行銷,訂價,供貨的整個生命週期,並發展年度商業成長計畫
• 透過競品分析,進而了解TI市場戰略優勢, 與客戶建立策略性的關係.
• 了解TI系統及產品,反應客戶需求及市場資訊給研發暨行銷團隊做為未來產品開發或訂價的參考
• Define the opportunity at each of your accounts, including understanding the complete list of customer projects, content opportunities, and decision-makers
• Understand your numbers, including baseline vs. new project revenue (NPR) at each customer; have your numbers grounded in project plans
• Find and kick off all your projects at customers proactively; find projects early
• Create action plans to maximize TI content at each account and on each customer project; follow-up once projects are in production with a closed-loop BOM (Bill of Materials) process
• Be able to maximize TI revenue through understanding of supply chains, revenue tracking and competitor displacement opportunities
• Leverage all the available sales tools, customer intelligence, and resources to properly analyze, prioritize, and disposition activity into opportunities

▋ About the job
Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an Manufacturing Operations Intern to be responsible for evaluating and supporting our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain capacity modeling data integrity via engineering change control monitoring and frequent communication with tool owners to ensure model readiness
• Gather the information required and to understanding capacity analysis and production impact
• Performing “what-if” analysis on business changes
• Collect and validate data via stopwatch time studies and automation logs analysis, to analyze throughput impact of various process changes
• Identify opportunities to improve cycle time and increase our capacity models’ ability to support operational decision making
• Assist tool owners to understand capacity impacts associated with process changes
• Identify tools/moves required to support starts mix shift due to business change
• Provide information for management reviews of operational performance
• Determine starts and mixes that we can support for the current time period and for the future look-ahead based on our capacity, constraints, available tools, tool performance and future process releases scheduled in our factory
• Provide a list of focused toolsets for the modules to work on in the coming quarter
• Optimize, develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence, equipment layout, and processes in the fabrication of wafers
• Provide capacity analysis and cost analysis support for decision making
• Perform equipment loading studies and determining methods for flow linearization and reduction in variation
• Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and planning/coordinating the release of new methods, flows, and processes
• Estimate manufacturing cost, determining time standards, and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing process flows
• Maintain records and reporting systems for measurement of manufacturing operations
• Analyze large data sets
