Electrical Engineering interns will often have projects related to power distribution systems that ensure 100% uptime of the manufacturing equipment. Mechanical Engineering interns may work issues related to thermodynamics, heat transfer, gas and fluid mechanics, process control or HVAC and psychometric processes. Most projects will support advanced micro-electronics manufacturing operations. Chemical Engineering interns will often work with over fifty types of chemicals and gases that are used in the production of semiconductors. All intern projects often include the following responsibilities: • Analyzing existing mechanical systems to troubleshoot problems and improve operating efficiencies (i.e., reduce operating and maintenance costs), improve reliability and/or regain capacity, etc. • Working with programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) to automate the Facilities systems, also known as Controls Engineering • Using flow and pressure monitoring equipment to generate useful graphical data for communications • Responsibility for static, dynamic design, and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages • Conducting feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs • Providing design information to drafting for packaging documentation • Planning plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment • Reviewing and estimating design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs • Developing criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment, required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes Put your talent to work with us as a Facilities Engineering Intern – change the world, love your job!

Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join the Infineon Wi-Fi Engineering team in a supporting role for laboratory maintenance. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with laboratory management, understand lab operations, and assist with various technical activities. Responsibilities: In your new role, you will: • Laboratory Maintenance: o Monitor and support the calibration of instruments. o Assist with audits and paperwork. o Support tech activities in the lab. o Monitor and organize parts inventory/housekeeping. o Handle documentation tasks. • Team Assignments: o Participate in other technical and team assignments as needed. The main responsibility of this position is to facilitate the integration of yield data enablement, supplier manufacturing processes, and business electronic data interchange with new suppliers. Additionally, the candidates need to support the resolution of production data quality issues with existing suppliers and ensuring that all supplier data deliverables (US, EMEA, APAC) adhere to precise specifications, requiring strong analytical abilities and excellent cross-team communication skills. Candidates need to work closely with the engineering team, business stakeholders, and external partners to understand project requirements, translate technical needs into global solution development, and support supplier data integrations for business needs. 【Qualifications】 Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or information management, industrial engineering, or a related discipline. 【Skills/Experience】 • Strong background in yield data management or project management. • Previous experience in the semiconductor industrial supply chain management, IC design, or TFT-LCD fields is a plus. • Expertise in engineering data analysis systems, MES systems, quality control systems (SPC), and semiconductor yield with test data analytics. 【Familiar with】 • Adept in data analysis using Excel, SQL commands, RosettaNet, and EDI, with a strong understanding of relational databases. • Proficient programming skills, including XML, Excel VBA, Python, and PowerBI. 【Language Skills】 • Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent communication abilities to interact with stakeholders. • The score of 750 in TOEIC, 75 in TOEFL iBT score, and 6 in IELTS.
