1. Antenna Design & Development
• Design, simulate, and optimize automotive-grade antennas for V2X, GNSS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DSRC, UWB, and radar applications.
• Develop multi-band, compact, and high-efficiency antenna solutions for vehicles.
• Conduct EM simulations using tools like CST, HFSS, or FEKO to analyze radiation patterns, impedance matching, and efficiency.
• Work on optimizing antenna placement for embedded, roof-mounted, shark-fin, and integrated vehicle antennas.
• Antenna design in mobile devices will also be welcome to apply
2. RF System Integration & Testing
• Perform RF performance testing using vector network analyzers (VNA), spectrum analyzers, anechoic chambers, and signal generators.
• Optimize antenna matching networks to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize signal loss.
• Conduct Over-the-Air (OTA) testing, antenna radiation pattern measurements, and real-world performance validation.
• Troubleshoot RF interference (EMI/EMC issues), multipath fading, and coupling effects in vehicle environments.
3. Collaboration & Technical Leadership
• Provide technical leadership in cross-functional teams for RF design reviews and issue resolution.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in RF and antenna design methodologies.
4. Location
• 1st year in work location in Taiwan, relocate to Detroit US from 2nd year.
• Amphenol will help arrange relocation to the US with L1 visa. Long-term plan to be based in the US.
