Responsibilities: A WAN specialist with in-depth experience of PTCRB/GCF testing. Must have a working knowledge of technical specifications. Support of WAN aspects of worldwide country approvals is required. Influence cross functionally with both internal and external organizations. Work with ODMs/JDMs, Test Laboratories and client's Regulatory team to evaluate, select, and apply Industry standard compliance testing procedures and criteria. Develop specification and requirements documents to be supplied to development engineering teams. Tasks will include: Liaison with internal and ODM/JDM Development teams on new product development. Interfacing with other Regulatory Leads in their areas of expertise. Provide regulatory guidance to development teams to ensure successful compliance including using your cell phone experience with focus on protocol, RF and antenna performance. Preparation/Review of regulatory test plans and costing information from the test lab and ODM/JDM. Preparation/Review of regulatory schedules for both internal Engineering as well as ODM/JDM partners. Preparation/Review of status documents for ODM/JDM issues. Troubleshooting any test or certification issues that arise at ODMs/JDMs and test labs. Monitor and Report on new Regulatory requirements that could impact the products.
