The Role
•Plan and undertake all maintenance activities on Edwards equipment at tsmc customers in a safe, timely and effective manner, to meet the principle objectives of customers' needs.
•Direct and integrate the equipment support activities of Edwards with those of other supporting groups, in order to provide operational continuity.
•Control inventory held at key customers in order to fully support the timely execution of all Edwards contracted activities in a manner which is cost effective for, and auditable by, both Edwards and customer.
•Liaise with Edwards Service Centre to ensure that operational, technical, and reporting requirements are achieved.
•Provide a first point of contact for product enquiries and technical advice for customers and Edwards team members within your group.
•Maintain local operating procedures to provide a training aid and reference source for Edwards on site staff and customer personnel, and to fulfil the requirements of any third-party quality system accreditation which may be required.
•Direct site effort to ensure cost of ownership targets contracted are achieved and contribute actively to continuous improvement and cost reduction targets during the lifetime of the contract.
• Ensure data collection information is maintained.
What we expect of you?
• An Electro-mechanical / Electronic engineering background with formal qualifications or equivalent.
•Significant knowledge of the semiconductor industry and it’s protocols.
•A minimum of four years of experience in an engineering, service, or maintenance role, involving direct contact with customers.
•Well-developed competency in customer service orientation.
•Significant experience which demonstrates good communication skills at all levels and an ability to lead and motivate a small team. In addition, must be capable of working remotely and operate on own initiative.
•Sufficient PC skills to manage information and to prepare reports and presentations.
•Knowledge of Edwards – (products to be added by local Field Service Manager)
•Sufficient knowledge of the Edwards organization to enable questions that cannot be answered locally to be directed to the appropriate group or individual.
•Competent in spoken and written English.
