Walsin Energy Cable System (WECS) is the first domestic offshore/submarine cable manufacturer and established through a strategic collaboration between Walsin Lihwa and NKT Cables AB, a subsidiary of NKT A/S - one of the leading cable manufacturers of the world. The joint venture is in a strong growth phase with great ambitions to grow even more in the coming years. Our mission is to drive Taiwan’s green energy target of 2050 Net-Zero and pioneer Taiwan’s offshore cable manufacturing industry. WECS is searching for an experienced and skilled individual with an organized approach and strong communication skills for the role of Document Manager/Specialist to drive the document control strategy for WECS. As the Document Manager / Specialist, you will be responsible for tender and project documentation preparation and delivering in due quality and time according to the set requirements. This includes the ongoing optimization & development of document management systems and processes. The Document Manager / Specialist is the owner of the document management system, processes and procedures; and is responsible for ensuring that there are consistent routines and processes in place for creating documents as per contract, standards and norms regulations. He/she is also responsible for all document exchanges with Customers and Subcontractors. The Document Manager / Specialist will be required to work closely with the commercial & tender, engineering, production and project management teams to implement document management policies that ensures high quality delivery of documentation to external and internal stakeholders. Document Controller has mainly, but not limited to, the following responsibilities: 1-Designing and setting up with IT department a WECS company-wide document management system for processing, distribution, organization, storage and retrieval, and ultimate disposition of tender and project documentation. 2-Develop an appropriate WECS specific document management processes and procedures to support the implementation of the WECS document management system. 3-Make sure all incoming and outgoing documentation are are systematically handled and distributed according to the WECS document management processes and procedures (i.e. control document ID, routines for review, approval of documents and etc). 4-Check the formatting, layout, document numbering, legibility, consistency and quality level of documentation issued by various internal stakeholders before uploading into document management system for distribution (the Document Controller is not responsible for the content contained within the generated documents). 5-Provide the C&T team and PM team with follow up and monitoring of the tender / project documentation and administrative support during the execution of tender / project works. 6-Take ownership to understand tender requirements relating to the preparation and submission of the final documentation package. 7-Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to ensure a holistic approach to the WECS document management processes and procedures throughout the tender and project management phases are adopted. 8-Communicate and promote the understanding of tender / project document requirements and specifications to meet tender / project needs amongst cross function teams.

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field •Minimum of 2 years of related experience in document control, records management, or a related field, preferably within the renewable energy or oil & gas sector •Possess strong computer skills including MS Office software •A meticulous and structured work approach in addition to keen attention to details •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin •Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
