(薪優) Sr. Product Design Engineer- II (彈性工作地點:三重/新店/淡水，保障年薪14個月)(Work-life balance)

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Molex is looking for an individual who is proactive, humble, unafraid of learning, and have the potential for growth. The major is to communicate with customer and do the on-site service to discuss the related design, no matter the concept and existing products. And also, be good at creating and modifying detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches, or notes and contribute to design modifications to create valuable or quality of product. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. The main job responsibilities include face-to-face communication with clients to confirm their design requirements, solving client issues on-site, and conveying client needs to the corresponding design teams. 2. Work with global team, cross functional team and customer to understand requirement and provide design solutions. 3. Make significant contributions to design, development, and validation of different solutions. 4. 3D models creation, 2D concept drawings creation and modification, BOMs management, DFM review with supplier, communicate with customer, and clarify the VOC with customer in short time. 5. Perform mechanical design analysis, simulation, testing reports and DFMEA. 6. Conducts feasibility studies for new projects leveraging existing designs while also generating new designs and IP, drives consistency and thoroughness across portfolio. 7. Support internal design, engineering, prototyping and validation activities. EDUCATION Required: Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Preferred: Mechanical Engineering Required Experience and Skills:  6+ years of related experience in a professional role  Be able to check internal doc and mail in English.  Good communication skills in Mandarin and English.  Possesses thorough understanding of the mechanical development process.  Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting.  Engineering Design Software: NX (preferred), AutoCAD, etc.  Knowledge in high-speed cable, Finish, assembly process, product development process.  Create and maintain the database based on existing component level and cable product level by office software, Excel  Create guideline and drawing template according to customer’s needs. Desirable Requirements:  Wide and in-depth knowledge in mechanical engineering industry.  Good oral communication and presentation skills.  Prior experience in consumer/commercial products or other product engineering is highly preferred.  Design experience with high-speed connectors, cable (Preferred)
