Customer Test Engineer -IOP(Inter-Operability) (Taipei)

To join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team and work with world leading WoS (Windows on Snapdragon) compute device makers from design & develop to commercially launching excitement or new Qualcomm compute SoC products. Customer Engineers are expected to: - Do Type C devices inter operation with Dock station/Dongle/Monitor/USB accessories on Windows on ARM system. - Be able troubleshooting and analysis log to understand detail repo step/issue triage/root cause identify. - Familiar with Type C devices knowledge like USB type C/Display port/HDMI/TBT3/TBT4/Power deliver. - Careful repo issues and do record detail symptom, be able to summarize conclusion and generate report. Responsibilities: - Response for Dock station/Dongle/Monitor/USB accessories plug in/out , reboot, hibernation stress testing to capture fail log when any abnormal symptom. - Be able to develop auto testing tool to reduce engineer effort. - Handling customer Q&A, and work closely with internal developers. - Provide training to customer/coach customer and communicate with internal for feature design details. Skill/Experiences: - Strong knowledge of USB type C technology. Experience on windows inter operation test. - Strong trouble shutting skill set and be able to figure out root cause of device fail detection. - Experience with VESA DP/PD/USB/TBT4 spec is a plus. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - English communication proficiency. Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree , related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
