We're very keen on meeting you for this exciting role, a great opportunity to join the right team. • Supervise Outlet Operations During Assigned Shifts • In the absence of a Manager, conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known • Ensure all the staff to carry out the task according to the SOP • Supervise payment status and daily checkout work and daily checkout work • Assist with the maintenance of equipment • Control stock and monitor stock security procedures • Assist with functions • Assist with the implementation of purchasing procedures • Assist with handling and store stock according to stock control procedures • Training, development and rostering of staff • Determining and implementing ongoing training needs for colleagues at different levels. • Supervise service operations of the unit/ outlet • Assist in the resolving and the prevention of grievances • Help to Counsel staff and prevent work related problems • Assist in resolving disputes • Assist in the Discipline staff • Maintain a positive working attitude • Assist with the preparation of staff rosters • Facilitate multi-skill, ensuring maximum flexibility of staff rotation to busy areas all exercised • Assist the manager with staff training and development • Conduct job related colleague performance appraisals • Provide ongoing advice and support to staff under your supervision • Monitor colleagues performance • Carry out appropriate management practices that provide staff motivation and communication • Interact with department and hotel staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communication • Work effectively in a team • Assist in the preparation and maintain files, reports, letters, memorandums and other relevant business documentation • Ensure a daily logbook for the outlet is maintained with information as to covers, revenues, special events, quest praise and complaints and other notes happenings. The logbook is left every night for Director of F&B’s information & signature • Ensure all reporting and servicing deadlines are met on a timely basis • Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors
