Region APC > Service APAC Tasks & responsibilities: You will be working in a team of either two or four which is managed daily by a supervisor. Your responsibilities include routine checks, maintenance of the electrical and mechanical systems, and main component exchanges on our offshore wind turbines. Your work location will be flexible within the first 2 years of appointment on a rotational shift basis to acquire the skills for demanding offshore conditions. Responsibilities - Compliance to VESTAS Health and Safety Management system - Electrical and mechanical operations - Maintaining and upgrading installation activities - Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components - A frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control - Creating follow-up orders - Registration of time and material consumption in the company ERP system.

Qualifications Our new colleague has completed an electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school, college, or university, and has profound professional experience, e.g. within the offshore field and with high voltage. Consequently, you are comfortable working offshore and at heights, and are used to coping with the respective tasks this brings. You are required to have qualification samples within NVQ L4, HNC/HND in Mech/Elec/Marine, C&G full technological certificate/diploma, passed with Merit. Suitably experienced candidates without the above qualifications will be considered only in particular circumstances. Competencies You should be flexible, trusted, technically capable, and a motivated person. You should furthermore be a team-oriented person who is able to adapt to offshore life. We expect that you: - Have a high level of Safety awareness - Are flexible and willing to travel to other sites, also internationally, when required - Have good English skills in reading / writing - Possess basic knowledge of MS Office - Have a valid driver's license
