Education and Experience: Required: Bachelors degree required in Electrical Engineering. Specific experience with offshore and onshore electrical works will be looked upon favourably. Minimum of 2 years of Professional Experience in the offshore wind sector; Experience in Electrical design for LV or MV networks Qualified candidates are expected to demonstrate most of the following technical competency items: Experience in LV and MV electrical equipment design Experience in project acceptance tests and commissioning procedures for LV and MV electrical equipment (Equipment test data review). Experience may also include a working knowledge of offshore cabling regulations, codes, and standards. Project management skills and desired previous experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and familiar with Gant Charts (MS Project) Languages: must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear and detailed technical reports, presentations, and emails in English and Mandarin (mandatory). =Local Unit & Position Description= For the Offshore Substation and Project Certification departments, we are currently looking for structural engineers with a strong profile and keen interest in working with renewable energy. We deliver services related to certification and verification primarily for Offshore Wind Farms, transformer stations, and onshore support structures for Wind turbines as well as services including floating structures and other novel technologies via technology qualification as well as onshore towers. Our team is part of DNV´s Renewables Certification unit and has extensive experience with offshore wind projects and has worked with ca. 80% of global offshore wind projects to date.
