Purpose of the Job:
To support Trade Marketing team and management to implement all trade marketing programs and activities in accordance to the agreed marketing objectives and strategies
Internal Relationships:
Report to: Senior Manager, Trade Marketing Team
• Indirectly report to: Director.
• Closely liaising with the following HO's departments:
o Marketing Division
o Business Development Department
o MICE & Cruise team
External Relationships:
• Travel agent associations and other relevant authorities for the purpose of
promoting Hong Kong’s interests.
• HK trade partners including but not limited to travel agencies/airlines/local
agency/attractions/hotels.
• Non – trade partners of selected joint promotional activities.
• Event & Digital agencies
• Design & Production House
• Media and Ad agencies
• Corporate and other associations
Principal Accountabilities:
• Support in planning and implementation of trade marketing initiatives.
• To assist to cultivate and maintain a close relationship with local and online
travel agents, airlines.
• To provide advice and information to local trade or corporate accounts
constantly.
• To assist and organize trade promotional activities.
• To develop incentive & corporate meeting segments
• To assist and organize trade promotional activities.
• To promote special interest travel products.
• To collect market intelligence and conduct routine basis reports
(weekly/monthly)
• To analysis base on tracking and result of trade marketing practices.
• Monitor and maintain quality tour products through regular sales calls.
• To handle necessary logistics for marketing activities.
• To promote Hong Kong via trade seminars, travel fairs or special events.
• To bring familiarization groups to go to Hong Kong through management
assignments.
• To support other disciplines as required.
• To carry out required administrative jobs.
Job Requirements:
• University Degree holder
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in hospitality or tourism-related business
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork in supporting the department to reach business
goals.
• Detail oriented.
• Good time management in fast pace working environment.
• Familiar with marketing or digital marketing principles is a plus.
