【Main Goals and Objectives】 The Extended Warranty Program/Product Manager will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and managing the lifecycle of VGT Extended Warranty products. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams (including finance, legal, NC sales, Financial Services and GAS) to ensure that products meet market needs, regulatory requirements and company goals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills (ideally incl. actuarial), in-depth knowledge of the insurance products, and a passion for financial product innovation. 【Main Tasks (relating products, services …)】 1. Develop an internal Extended Warranty program for application to VGT New Car and A/S businesses.  • Conduct research on market trends and competitive products to provide actionable insights.  • Evaluate business case with/without acquisition of obligations from existing insurer • Define products/pricing ranging from mandatory 2+2 and 2+3 to optional 5-to-10-year coverage.  • Define scale of necessary provisions.  • Define sales, promotion and claim handling process.  • Track and report on industry changes, regulatory updates, and competitive products to assist in product positioning and strategy. 2. Manage existing Extended Warranty business  • Plan and coordinate with brands and FS to ensure minimal disruptions.  • Manage pricing, terms and coverage of warranty programs to secure targeted penetration rates.  • Develop and implement effective campaigns in partnership with suppliers/dealers.  • Provide oversight and support to FS in the creation of marketing materials.  • Support dealers in coordinating with FS and service providers to process warranty claims efficiently, while overseeing the resolution of customer disputes to secure customer satisfaction.  • Ensure timely and accurate quotations from FS for new models as required.  • Analyze campaign performance, monitor penetration rates, and stay informed on industry trends and best practices for EW program and ensure timely and accurate reporting of key KPIs. 3. Maximize loyalty/profitability and market penetration of the EW business  • Conduct regular analysis of the EW penetration rate to identify opportunities for expanding the product portfolio and unlocking new growth potential.  • Negotiate with the insurance company to provide the most competitive quotations.  • Manage the insurance vendor behavior and define the operation standard and procedures.  • Monitor the sales budget achievement and review the claim loss ratio and provide the solutions. 4. Warranty auditing  • Collaborate with the GAS Tech team to ensure warranty audit processes are feasible and aligned with business requirements and Group guidelines.
