As a Principal Materials Costing Analyst, you will be establishing should-cost structure to enable sustainable, competitive, and predictable costs and drive creation of innovative data analytical solutions that empower and inform cross-functional apparel product creation and sourcing teams to make better and faster decisions to achieve margin expectation. • Partner with broader Liaison office & Raw Material teams to create, implement fact-based product costing standards, to establish should cost structure for predictable, sustainable and competitive cost. • Support material cost forecasting process from gathering market intelligence based on macro and micro economic & industry trends to forecasting to help prep HQ team to present to Finance and Commercialization Team and leadership teams. • Lead the development of decision-supporting costing tools, costing scorecard as an enabler for optimal sourcing decision to optimize landed cost. • Manage the overall raw material costing process, calendar adherence, initiate & lead process improvement initiative and system enhancements. • Identify cost related risk and initiate mitigation action with internal and external partners. To manage the financial functions of the Taiwan liaison offices, ensuring alignment with Corporate, Regional, and Local laws while meeting the company's financial expectations. This leadership role encompasses financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and ad hoc reports. Establish policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy of data. This position also includes managing one accountant.  Collaborate with the LO Sr. Finance Manager, Country Director and department management staff to develop seasonal budgetary plans for the liaison office based on corporate fiscal business plans and guiding principles.  Continually monitor and evaluate spending performance against the budget to identify causes for over/under budget scenarios and re-forecast as necessary.  Provide regular and ad-hoc financial reports to business partners as required.  Oversee monthly/quarterly/yearly closing procedures, prepare and review bookkeeping and account reconciliations to ensure financial information is recorded accurately.  Review purchasing and payment functions to ensure legal compliance and accuracy in procedures and execution. Forecast and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funding to cover expenses.  Execute all statutory and corporate financial reporting requirements as outlined in local laws and corporate policies. Stay current with changes to policies and laws and propose business adjustments to remain compliant.  Manage daily financial spending decisions, forecast and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funding to cover expenses.  Process monthly payroll including collecting data from HR, compiling summaries of salaries, taxes, benefits, deductions, resolving discrepancies, and determining payroll liabilities by following policies and procedures to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.  Lead and develop one accountant, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to support their professional growth.  Maintain open lines of communication with management, staff, and other departments to contribute to the efficient operation of the organization.  Interface with external auditors as necessary on financial-related matters.  Participate in Global and Regional projects as assigned to help ensure consistency in policy and practice throughout the region as well as corporate.
