Job Summary : The HR Manager for Taiwan and Korea plays a key role in driving both strategic and operational HR initiatives for both countries. This position is responsible for leading HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and organizational planning. The role serves as a strategic business partner to country leadership teams while aligning with global HR standards and regional strategies. Cross-border collaboration and the ability to localize global initiatives are critical to success. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic HR Leadership & Execution Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives in Taiwan and Korea. Translate global HR policies into practical, localized solutions that enhance organizational performance. 2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Lead end-to-end recruitment processes across levels, including operational, corporate, and leadership roles. Manage external vendor relationships (e.g., headhunters, staffing firms, job platforms) to ensure efficient sourcing. Drive manpower planning in line with business growth and operational needs. 3. Performance Management & Talent Development Oversee the annual performance review cycle and ensure process integrity. Lead talent development programs, including management trainee (MT) programs and internal learning platform engagement. Partner with line managers to facilitate career planning, succession pipelines, and capability building. 4. Employee Engagement & Culture Initiatives Design and implement employee engagement programs such as HR roadshows, care initiatives (e.g., during COVID), and interactive online events. Promote Ecolab's PSP (People, Safety, Performance) culture and drive participation through internal campaigns. 5. Cross-Border Project Management Act as the AMEA MT Program regional lead, coordinating annual planning, virtual training delivery, and in-country execution (Taiwan & Korea). Support regional HR transformation projects including process optimization, HRIS implementation (e.g., SuccessFactors), and policy harmonization. 6. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure HR practices in both countries are compliant with local labor laws and corporate policies. Manage labor inspections, audits, and internal risk assessments to minimize legal and operational exposure.
