This role is responsible for overseeing accounting and analysis for Brother various business areas. Key duties include monitoring expenses and gross profit, calculating month-end accruals, preparing journal entries, reviewing staff entries, and conducting account analysis. This role also handles budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while interacting with business unit personnel for accounting guidance. Additionally, the manager supervises staff training and participates in audits.
Act as an HR Business Partner for assigned units, providing strategic HR support. Work with managers to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Assist in implementing HR initiatives, performance management, and talent development to drive growth and operational success.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
FIN:
。 Oversee the AP/AR function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
。 Lead vendor management, resolving disputes, optimizing payment terms, and maintaining strong relationships.
。 Ensure AP/AR records are accurate, reconcile accounts, and manage cash flow efficiently.
。 Ensure the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and stakeholders.
。 Provide insights and financial analysis to support business decisions, including budgeting and forecasting.
。 Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors during audits.
。 Recommend and implement system upgrades or improvements for more efficient financial operations.
。 Analyze accounting operations to identify and drive efficiencies and process improvements; ensure documentation of all accounting processes and procedures.
。 Work collaboratively with other members of the team to promote and share business partnering ideas, learnings, experiences and best practices.
。 Work proactively with key business partners and stakeholders to develop successful partnering relationships.
。 Provide forward looking insight and challenge, adding value through delivering business and commercial insights – acting as a catalyst for business change.
。 Investigate opportunities as well as high-risk and material financial issues or problem areas with the business.
。 Supervise and develop assigned staff, ensuring proper allocation of work; support staff in their achievement of personal and department goals and meeting of deadlines.
HR & ADM:
。 Oversee the management of employee salary, bonuses, sales incentives, insurance, and income tax calculations and verification processes.
。 Develop and manage the organization’s compensation and benefits program, including salary benchmarking, payroll processing, and claims administration.
。 Address complex employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
。 Resolve employee and/or manager questions regarding HR policies and programs, including questions about guidelines, requirements, legal compliance, and procedures.
。 Foster a positive work culture through strategic initiatives that align with company goals.
。 Lead the development and execution of training programs that respond to organizational needs, in collaboration with various departments.
。 Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning to enhance employee growth and organizational performance.
。 Develop and manage the recruitment strategy to acquire talent in alignment with business needs.
。 Responsible for ensuring all HR administrative systems are accurate, efficient and compliant with local audit procedures and all filing systems are up to date and accurate.
。 Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize budget utilization.
。 Lead HR improvement projects, analyze HR metrics, and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
。 Oversee office facility management and maintenance.
