About the role:
The Strategic Planning and Operations, Manager is responsible for identifying internal and external strategic issues and opportunities that could affect the growth and profitability of the organization. This role involves evaluating potential business opportunities, monitoring business trends, and developing strategies to optimize revenue and business models. By facilitating cross-business unit initiatives and strategic partnerships, this role contributes to Takeda's mission.
How you will contribute:
* Identify growth opportunities and business model innovations
* Evaluate and conduct financial modeling of potential mergers, acquisitions, divestments, partnerships, and joint ventures
* Monitor medium to long-term business trends and gather competitive intelligence
* Develop optimal revenue models, sales/distribution channels, pricing, and new product development strategies
* Negotiate strategic partnerships, including financial arrangements and intellectual property rights
* Prioritize and track investments across new product development initiatives
* Lead project management efforts and coach others in project management
