IT Specialist Technical Support will support the DIS Tech Taiwan office.
The role is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to internal customers, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, networks and software applications. The IT Specialist will troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems and implement solutions to ensure efficient and effective IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers (PC), servers, networks, printers, scanners, video conferencing and other workplace devices promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and evaluate new technologies and solutions for regional and global deployments.
• Communicate with external vendors and service providers to coordinate support activities, escalate issues, procure necessary hardware and software.
• Network Administration -- Responsible in Deploying and overseeing functional networks such as LAN, WLAN, WAN.
• Maintain and support SD WAN network infrastructure, Network security solutions etc.
• Windows System Administration -- Responsible for the design, planning, implementation and support for the Microsoft Windows environment.
• Design, install, and configure internal and customer facing servers with a primary focus on providing Microsoft Windows OS Support (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, and Windows 10)
• Perform VM administration using different Virtualization Plaftorm (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V and Azure Cloud)
• Manage Dell servers and process hardware replacement from vendor
