Key Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with the directives and regulations that apply in the company as set/defined by the management; • Be responsible for the daily management of the attributed account portfolio, incl. assigned general cargo or project shipments; • Steer and engage in Operation & Execution (from A to Z), providing high quality customer service, daily operations & documentation service to clients which are in line with the defined policy and SOP; • Ensure operational quality in line with the defined/agreed standards; • Identify, explore and realize cost-saving opportunities in order to increase yield under consideration of maintaining operational quality; • Ensure Cargowise system be maintained timely and accurately according to the defined working instruction and SOPs; • Draft, update & implement SOP / Working Instructions relative to attributed business; • Provide scheduled and timely reports for transport execution progress to clients, overseas offices and management team; • Supervise cargo operations, cargo inspection and site survey; • Optimize procurement and enhance value-added service procurement strategies (under consideration of vendor management principles); • Optimize vendor management; • Maintain clear and regular communications with project team and/or BD team on issues affecting the sales performance and transport execution; • Identify operational and sales synergies amongst Shanghai branch territory by maintaining close communication and collaboration with the teams and internal/external clients; • In coordination with Accounting to control AP & AR for allocated business; • Suggest corrective measure, where necessary, to management team for timely implementation; • Other duties in line with current position to be assigned by management Skills, knowledge, and expertise: • Deep knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry, especially in seafreight export and import; • Good knowledge and understanding of customer requirements; • Good knowledge and understanding of financials and impact on business • Good knowledge of IT systems and processes used in the transport sector • Solid communication skills – both written and spoken English & Chinese • Result-oriented and driven to achieve goals and meet targets • A keen commercial awareness in consideration of increasing overall profitability • Ability to think tactically and strategically, with an analytical mindset • Deep knowledge of the financial & commercial contexts that the business exists within deugro; • Ability to create commitment and give directions as well as set and follow up clear objectives • Communicative and with good influencing skills, able to create trustful relations in spite of cultural differences and geographical distance • Good skill of Resources organization and optimization • Ability to organize own & follow up team’s work flow • Quality focus • Risk control focus • Continuous improving focus • Reasonable over time might be required during bidding & project execution • Team Spirit • Pro-active What makes us the ideal choice?
