◆You are responsible for managing the entire project life cycle for developing and launching new products at Optima
◆You function as key liaison between colleagues in Taiwan and the Netherlands, guiding along all key stakeholders in project execution (Design, RD, Purchase, Production, Quality, Compliance, Marketing and Sales departments)
◆You report directly to the General Manager (Taiwan) and CEO (Netherlands)
※Responsibilities:
●Set up project plans clearly outlining project scope and deliverables, budget, risks, project phasing, time schedule and key milestones, all in line with the project business case
●Continuously monitor project progress to ensure in-time introduction of new products, considering strict launch deadlines
●Track and report on project performance using key performance metrics on scope, planning, budget, risks
●Organize and facilitate stage gate reviews to guarantee timely decision making and project progress
●Make use of key project management tools, such as: project charter, Gantt chart, risk matrix, change register, master BOM, Kanban and others
●Manage scope changes, carefully assessing feasibility and impact on project business case before agreeing to implement them
●Identify potential risks, subsequently developing and implementing suitable mitigations
●BOM build up and cost pricing, in collaboration with Procurement Department
●Ensure product development according to strict customer requirements, considering optimum producibility in production and assembly, as well as weighing alternative production method solutions
●Ensure design team OCM is fully informed and aware of production methods and related factors (technical feasibility, costing, producibility), ensuring fit-for-purpose design in line with project business case
