While on a visit to Iceland in 2017, our team was introduced to the science of converting warm water into electricity. This is the Job
We're looking for someone to take charge of the daily operations of the office and help create a smo oth, efficient work environment. This includes handling general admin tasks, coordinating meetings and events, keeping office supplie s in check, and working with external IT consultants (both local and overseas).You'll also support some HR admin duties—like tracking attendance and leave, helping with onboardin g and offboarding, and coordinating with external partners for employee enrolment and insurance cov Age.
On top of that, you'll help make sure everything we do stays in line with company policies and proce dures.
It's a hands-on role with a lot of variety, perfect for someone who's organised, proactive, and like s being the one who keeps things running behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
-Ensure office supplies availability and working with IT support when needed.
-Mentor and train office intern or part-time staff.
-Organize company events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all logistical details are handled.
-Maintain office filing systems, both physical and digital, and manage documentation storage.
-Act as the point of contact for partners, vendors, and service providers.
-Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence, ensuring timely responses and proper communication flow.
-Provide support in HR-related tasks, including assisting with employee onboarding and maintaining e m ployee records.
-Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense reporting, as needed.
-Stay updated on and maintain compliance with corporate policies and procedures related to data prot ection, health and safety regulations, and office security protocols.
-Support with special projects.
