Description of position
The HR Manager is the ‘spider in the web’ for all matters relating to organizing, building, developing, professionalizing and maintaining the Pon.Bike Asia teams in Taiwan, China and Vietnam including all HR related administrative matters:
•Building a strong ‘new Pon.Bike Asia’ culture, tightly connected to the Operations cluster of Pon.Bike.
•Promotor of Pon(.Bike) values and compliance.
•First point of contact for our employees and managers on all HR related matters (eg. contracting, case management, employee benefits, payments).
•Integrator of existing contract structures and formats and design new Pon.Bike Asia Standards.
•Providing qualitative and efficient support on personnel matters to both employees as Pon.Bike Asia management, such as company policies and procedures (including the annual HR cycle), employee benefits, payroll, performance, case management (illness/grievance/disciplinary) and engagement.
•Leading and maintaining the associated HR administration (incl. payroll) in compliance with the local legislations. Main focus on Taiwan; there is local support in China and Vietnam that is to be managed by the HR Manager.
•Enabler of business success through talent management/development, succession management & planning, performance management and Human resources management.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Building a strong ‘new Pon.Bike Asia’ culture (together with the management team) that will enable us to win the ‘war on talent'.
•Integrating existing compensation structures into a new ‘salary house’ aligned with Pon (Global) HR.
•Upgrading existing staff performance management structures into a new Pon.Bike Asia ‘template'.
•Maintaining and implementation of (new) HR policies and updated labor contracts in compliance with local legislation and Pon compliance standards.
•Advise and support managers regarding internal benefit packages, policies and other employee matters/cases (e.g. compliance, discipline, long-term sickness).
•Support management with onboarding new hires, preparing contracts, documents etc. ensuring legal contracts are compliant.
•Oversees and executes, together with the Finance Manager, the local and international payroll, including the administration of all employee related insurances, pension and savings plans.
•Responsible for maintaining all relevant personnel data, following local and Pon privacy regulations.
•Support managers with talent development (1–3-year plans), succession planning, performance improvement plans and on how to deal with team member issues.
•Participate in HR related projects as a project member to support the delivery of the project milestones and deliverables.
•Function as a confidant for team members.
•Develop and maintain personnel procedures, policies and contract agreements.
•Monitor and support the HR Cycle: performance review processes, target setting, and the yearly salary increase.
•Maintain in contact with legal advisors concerning HR relevant legislation, employment laws in China, Vietnam and Taiwan
