Rayliant Global Advisors is a global investment management group. Our investment strategies bring together elements of behavioral finance, data science and local market insights, especially in inefficient markets. Our strategies are all grounded in academically-sound quantitative methods and many also bring in elements of fundamental insights in various systematic ways. We offer these strategies through ETFs and separately managed accounts to investors around the world. Today, Rayliant has over 17.4 billion USD across equity, fixed income and alternative assets managed using our strategies (as of 30 June 2023). Rayliant’s clients include institutional and high net worth investors globally. We have offices in Los Angeles, London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Rayliant's investment team has published more than 40 journal articles and contributed to nine handbooks on finance and economics. We have won two Graham and Dodd Scroll Awards, one Graham and Dodd Reader’s Choice Award,one Graham and Dodd Top Award, three Bernstein Fabozzi/Jacob Levy Awards, and three William F. Sharpe Awards. Rayliant was founded in 2016 by Jason Hsu, Ph.D. He also co-founded Research Affiliates, a quantitative asset manager with 130 billion USD in assets managed using its strategies (as of 31 March 2023). Jason is a professor of finance at UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a visiting professor at Tsinghua University (China), Kyoto University (Japan) and National Chengchi University (Taiwan). Jason is also a portfolio manager for Rayliant's suite of quantamental ETFs.
