For our ongoing and future projects in Taiwan, we are looking for project engineers to prepare and coordinate our work activities. As a project engineer, you will - Coordinate works, suppliers and subcontractors, whilst maintaining operational control; - Report on the progress and completion of these works; - Procure the necessary materials and services needed for these works; and - Engineer the work execution methodology, working closely together with the direct colleagues, JDN's competence centres and specialists The JDN team is dynamic, amicable, hands-on and driven to deliver. You will be supported with experience and competence whilst benefiting from short communication lines between the different departments and management levels. Profile: You are a civil/ industrial or mechanical engineer, hands-on and eager to learn. You have strong communication skills and a can-do mentality. For our ongoing and future projects in Taiwan, we are looking for Occupational Health and Safety Engineer to advise our projects on all HSE related topics. Holding an Occupational Health and Safety License Management Level A is a plus. Your tasks: - Analysing and follow up of the defined policy regarding safety converted into: - The supporting management systems (procedures) - And the measurable goals (KPI' s) - You give advice regarding the safety management systems - Follow up local legislation regarding safety issues - Planning and conducting audits (internal and external) - Responsible for performing risk analyses and check compliance with the safety plan - Organize & chair toolbox meetings - Prepare & chair safety meetings/presentations - Assist with incident investigations Profile You hold a Master's degree in a technical or science discipline (construction or mechanics). These services can be divided as follows: intervention works at the sea bottom, rock installation and ballasting, installation of offshore wind farms, subsea cables and umbilicals. For our sites in Taiwan, we are looking for a project logistics administrator. Your tasks and responsibilities include: Customs (import/ export) administration according to the general company policies and in compliance with the local customs regulations. Administration of the import/ export of goods for the Taiwan projects. Administration related to the bank insurances and guarantees in relation to the custom duties for import and export. Interface with the local agent and/or custom organizations. Profile You can communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin. You hold minimum a bachelor degree, with relevant experience in a logistic role, for marine/ general construction company would be a plus. You are flexible, accurate, work organized, and has good communication skills. Preferably you hold a Level B and/or Level C technician for International Trade Management. You have no problem using software and equipment operating in English. Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Interested to work and be part of a team of multi-national colleagues.

We are looking for an HR Administrator who works in a people-oriented manner and can help implement soft HR processes. Your tasks and responsibilities include: - As HR Administrator, you are the first point of contact for our staff members (employees) regarding HR topics. You actively contribute to a warm and smooth onboarding of our new employees. - You ensure a smooth implementation of the mapped out soft HR processes and look at where optimizations are possible. - Together with the Head of Personnel & Organization, you optimize our HR systems, set up various HR projects and support periodic reporting and follow-up of HR topics. - With knowledge of local rules and regulations, you assist with communication and interpretation when needed. - For personnel related tasks, you take part in generating summary documents, including personnel certificates, visas, work permits, transportation, accommodation, and others. - As HR Administrator, you report to the HR manager. For our sites in Taiwan (mainly Taichung), we are looking for a candidate whom will be entering our survey department servicing all different ongoing projects. Your tasks and responsibilities include: In collaboration with the survey manager: o Equipment & material sourcing o Local repairs / service companies, joining meetings o Data retrieval from government agencies o Assisting with data processing / charting / administration o Joining client survey meetings When site work is required: o General survey works o (Joining) site visits & witnessing survey works conducted by subcontractors (land & marine) o Executing and/or witnessing basic hydrographic and/or topographic surveys using single beam o Multibeam echo sounders, total station, RTK rover, automatic level instrument (on the job training will be provided) o If interested / skilled, performing & processing drone surveys (external and internal training will be provided) Administration: o Communication with local companies and clients o Preparing survey procedures and processing comments from clients o Obtaining approvals / licenses (transmission frequencies, installations, etc.) o Verification and quality analysis of topographic & hydrographic survey data of subcontractors Profile You are a Civil, Science (Geomatics/Geography/Geology/Electrical/Mechanical) Engineer, Construction or Marine Ocean Science Engineer in Taiwan with interest in the field. You have the ability to learn new software (proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel) and work with a hands-on approach. You must possess the skills to work effectively and efficiently within a team and coordinate the work activities of a field crew. You are a flexible and active person, eager to learn new skills and ready to take on new challenges. Interested to work and be part of a team of multi-national engineers & surveyors. Place of employment will be mainly in Taichung, and various working sites.
