1. Job Summary
The SCM deputy manager is responsible for efficiently managing and optimizing the company's overall supply chain to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs. This role involves systematically managing all processes from raw material procurement to production, logistics, and distribution, while proactively responding to rapidly changing market environments.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Demand Forecasting and Planning:
Analyze market trends and customer demand to create accurate demand
forecasts.
Develop production plans, inventory management plans, logistics plans, etc.
- Inventory Management:
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover.
Prevent inventory shortages and overstock situations.
Operate and improve inventory management systems.
- Logistics and Transportation Management:
Design efficient transportation routes and logistics networks.
Manage and collaborate with transportation companies.
Reduce logistics costs and shorten delivery times.
- Supplier Management:
Build and maintain cooperative relationships with suppliers.
Manage and improve supplier performance.
- Supply Chain Analysis and Improvement:
Analyze problems throughout the supply chain and develop improvement plans.
Improve processes to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Operate and manage SCM-related systems.
- Collaboration with Related Departments:
Ensure seamless collaboration with related departments such as production,
sales, and purchasing.
Share information and resolve issues.
Required Skills
- SCM Knowledge: Understanding and practical experience in overall supply chain management.
- Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze and utilize data related to market trends, demand forecasting, and inventory status.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly and accurately resolve supply chain-related issues.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with related departments and external partners.
- Foreign Language Skills: Foreign language proficiency for collaboration with overseas suppliers and global market analysis (optional).
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in SCM-related systems and MS Office.
