Our client is a well-known international company 1. Reproducing display panel issues on customer reference board and get detail trace and data to analyze and generate report to developers and debuggers, 2. Supporting APAC ODM/OEM for display compatibility issue by acting as the first validation contact and be responsible for providing feedback to the development team on new request of customers and suppliers about display panels, 3. Supporting & participating in display early stage debug activities in Taipei and keeping communication with display vendors to track the issue, 4. Training customers and suppliers to perform display validation test plan and establishing test method/power measurement of display, 5. Preparing user guide for new display feature enabling to customers and suppliers, 6. Monitoring and collecting display ecosystem available panels from suppliers to generate power measurement table on Intel platform, 7. Supporting Customer Purchase Program (CPP) by integrating/testing reference platform with CPU/SSD/SW to ensure proper working condition before packaging all the parts & sending to vendors. 8. Managing validation platform board inventory by tracking its status

Roles & Responsibility: • Analysis of notebook display system - Engage N/N+1 display technology validations & scaling. - Establish validation plans & experiment environment for N+2 prototype or PoC. - Analyze & summarize engineering reports to identify the meaning of numbers. • Survey and build validation plans & experiment environment for 3rd party lab. • 1-2 times weekly meetings with US & India team. • Demonstration for introductions of system test setup/measurements with tools may be required. • As well as lab tools/systems and accessories shipping logistics. • Support external display port enabling. (optional)

Roles & Responsibility: • Power performance test for notebook system & display panel - Follow the BKM/BKC to set up the experiment environment, such as RVP, DAQ, and test equipment. - The major test items include combination workload tests with different configurations for Intel display feature. • Summarize display power test data , includes the PABL data collection /PHM/ Modern standby and environment build. • Survey and build the power testing equipment and environment for 3rd party lab and display testing feature. • 2-3 times weekly meetings with US team. • Demonstration for introductions of system test setup/measurements with tools may be required. • As well as lab tools/systems and accessories shipping logistics. • Tear down the comparison system and analyze the display power part for getting the display data. (optional)

You will be part of Electrical Engineering development team to develop bench power supply products. You will play a key role in power supply development from concept, architecture, requirements definition, power budgeting, design/implementation of circuits, troubleshooting of designs, functional safety impact assessment, product verification and certification testing, and release to production. Key Qualifications 1. Master/ Bachelor’s degree in electrical/power engineering. 2. 5-10+ years of experience design and test of high and low power supply circuits and printed circuit boards for hardware systems, with expertise in isolated and non-isolated power supply design. 3. Experience developing electronic hardware architecture and systems especially on bench power supply products that meet product certification requirements, such as UL, CE, or IEC 61010. 4. Proven track records in AC-DC & DC-DC power design related activities and knowledge. In depth knowledge on power supply topologies, e.g. Sepic, buck, boost, flyback etc and different compensation techniques. Determine which of these topologies best suits the needs based on given product requirements. 5. Strong in design calculations and simulation data for energy, thermal, power efficiency based on selected design concept. 6. Experienced Power Electronics engineer having programmable power supply designs, modular and discrete power converter designs, low and high-power considerations. 7. Heatsink design experience and thermal based design 8. Understanding on signal processing techniques. 9. Different types of transformer design, specification, and materials. 10. Working knowledge on the characteristics of magnetics (including inductor/transformer modeling), magnetization inductance, magnetization current, leakage inductance, intra-winding and inter-winding capacitance, self-resonant frequency, characteristics and limitations of magnetic cores, core saturation, core loss, high frequency losses, core reset, winding techniques for optimization of desired magnetics, and design of current transformers. 11. Experience in schematic design, modelling/simulation tool and equipment for power converter design and various techniques of protection. 12. Demonstrated skills in the hardware development process, including circuit simulation & design, component de-rating, hardware debug & release. 13. Work closely with teams such as mechanical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing engineers to ensure that design and product requirements are met. 14. Have working knowledge and experience on FMEA and DFMEA. 15. Ability to work with supplier(s) to discuss requirements, testing method, identification of issues and resolutions. 16. Ability to lead, communicate and engage solutions with cross functional teams to find solutions. 17. Ability to achieve targets while working on multiple projects simultaneously. Minimum Qualifications 1. Master/ Bachelor’s degree in electrical/power engineering. 2. Preferable to have experience designing electronic hardware systems that meet functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508 and/or SIL2/SIL3) 3.
