The Travel Consultant role is responsible for providing exceptional service and assistance with all (domestic & international) aspects of business travel requirements to our Corporate Travel Customers. Travel Consultants are expected to utilize their industry, product and destination knowledge to effectively and efficiently provide quotes and booking services to these travelers via email and phone. They need to be consultative when it comes to service and provide solutions on a customer's first contact with American Express Global Business Travel. Key Responsibilities • Fulfill Customer’s Corporate Domestic & International travel requirements within defined travel polices through all streams of booking processes (phone, email and chat). • Analyze fare and routing alternatives to provide best fare of the day options on all travel itineraries in line with customer requirements • Be trained across all travel tools available at American Express GBT including, but not limited to, GDS, Great Call Experience, point of sale processing tools • Manage prioritization of workload and communicate to team leader or colleagues when outside of agreed SLA metric for further assistance. • Ensure customer service levels are met • Maintain productivity in line with KPIs, ensuring high quality error free transactions, maximize use of American Express Global Business Travel’s Preferred Supplier program.

The Afterhours Travel Consultant role is responsible for providing exceptional service and assistance with all (domestic & international) aspects of business travel requirements to our Corporate Travel Customers. Travel Consultants are expected to utilize their industry, product and destination knowledge to effectively and efficiently provide quotes and booking services to these travelers via phone and Chat. They need to be consultative when it comes to service and provide solutions on a customer's first contact with American Express Global Business Travel. You will be required to work non-business hours and must be comfortable in working a scheduled shift during weeknights, weekends and public holidays, where you will be awarded with shift allowances. In addition to shift allowances, we offer a competitive salary package. Some overtime may be required during peak travel seasons. Key responsibilities - Provide accurate business travel arrangement for corporate accounts including air, hotel, car and ground transportation arrangement - Understand customers’ needs to propose best alternatives in terms of pricing/routing - Provide Business Travel Services i.e. planning of itineraries, making reservations, ticketing for the international markets - Gain knowledge and adherence to clients’ procedures, programs and policy guidelines - Update and maintain accurate and Personal Client Profile - Check document validity, provide accurate visa requirements and application details at the time of reservation - Confirm travel itinerary request by email/fax etc within the stipulated Service Level Agreement - Inform customer by the preferred communication channel for any changes of travel schedule - Build and maintain good working relationships with customers
