I. JOB SUMMARY
Hyve Solutions is looking for Technical Program Manager (TPM) majorly handle PCBA design and manufacturing tasks. The candidate has to be very detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven. Individual with proven program management skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment with responsibilities day to day operations of the IT products being processed.
Furthermore, the candidate will play a critical role in coordinating between design, engineering, manufacturing and NPI teams to ensure successful development, testing, and production of PCBA components. This role will manage the complete lifecycle of PCBA projects, from new product introduction (NPI) to production ramp-up and MP sustaining, quality control, and delivery. A strong background in PCBA design, electronics manufacturing, and cross-functional program management is essential for success in this role.
I. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
• Manage and Lead NPI Programs: Oversee the manufacturing lifecycle of PCBA projects through various phases of the engineering development process, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Manage Cross-Functional Engineering Tasks: Coordinate PCBA design, validation, Bill of Materials (BOM), and factory build activities across engineering teams to ensure alignment and accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
• 2nd Source Control Planning and Validation: Plan, manage, and validate 2nd source PCBA builds to ensure redundancy and continuity in supply.
• NRE and Schedule Planning: Develop Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) budgets and schedules to optimize resource allocation and meet project timelines.
• Coordinate PCBA-Related Activities: Serve as the central liaison for PCBA activities, ensuring cohesive communication and alignment between engineering teams, supply chain, and factory partners to meet customer schedule commitments.
• Partner Site Readiness: Work closely with external manufacturing sites to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment on production goals, and delivery timelines.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks in the PCBA development and manufacturing process, proactively developing and executing mitigation plans to address issues before they impact production timelines.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate status updates and project insights to stakeholders, including senior management, providing clear recommendations and risk assessments to support decision-making.
