A. Collaborative Requirements Extraction: 1. Work in close collaboration with Project Management (PM), Intellectual Property (IP) teams, Firmware (FW) engineers, and direct customer interactions. 2. Extract and understand system-level requirements specific to the automotive product being developed, ensuring that all necessary perspectives and constraints are considered. B. Requirement Structuring & Documentation 1. Engage with the ASIC and FW teams to organize and construct a coherent set of system requirements. 2. Formulate potential solutions based on these structured requirements. 3. Document all requirements and proposed solutions in detail, ensuring they're understandable and actionable by all relevant stakeholders. Ensure that this documentation follows any necessary industry or company standards. C. System Simulation 1. Use relevant simulation tools to model and test the proposed system solution in a virtual environment. 2. Validate the functionality, performance, and robustness of the system against the defined requirements. 3. Document results and any identified issues, updating the proposed solutions as necessary. D. Emulation using Zebu 1. Implement the proposed system solution on an emulation platform, such as Zebu, to test its real-world functionality and interoperability. E. Automotive System Architecture Analysis 1. Deep dive into the architectural nuances of the automotive system in consideration. 2. Understand how each component or module interacts within the larger system framework. 3. Analyze potential bottlenecks, areas of inefficiency, or vulnerabilities in the system architecture. Propose refinements or redesigns as necessary.
