Buyer Position Summary/Job Description We are currently seeking a Buyer to work with our bike manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have purchasing experience and technical knowledge of bicycles. Effective communication, time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential. This role is based out of Taichung City, Taiwan. Responsibilities • Create, submit, and maintain purchasing plans with supply partners and communicate updated ETAs to the factory. • Expedite/Defer material deliveries based on changing needs of the business. • Generate and utilize reports with available business analytics tools. • Own SKU-level forecasts to support purchasing and manufacturing plans. • Serve as a data steward for creation and maintenance of part number master data and associated supply planning attributes. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Experience: - Experience in purchasing and demand planning. - Possess technical knowledge of bicycles. • Skills & Competencies: - Proactive problem-solving approach with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proven critical thinking and collaborative skills. - Ability to effectively communicate and interact with management and suppliers. - Ability to create and implement plans, processes, and procedures. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Technical Skills: - Strong PC skills (including MS Office applications). - Extensive knowledge of Excel (required). - Knowledge of JDE, demand planning software, and web-based analysis tools (a plus). • Language: - Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required. • Customer Service: - Provides incredible hospitality to both internal and external customers.

In this role you will support Engineering, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing by providing 3D CAD models using both Solid and Advanced Surface Modeling techniques. We are looking for someone who can maintain a strong emphasis on following Trek’s Product Development Process (PDP) while developing, implementing, and applying tools that allow for lead-time reductions in our process. We are currently seeking an experienced CAD designer to join our Taiwan team. The primary responsibility is supporting Trek Engineering and Industrial Design in the USA, Europe and Asia to create world changing new bicycle products for consumers and our race teams. You will spend 90% of your time focusing only on 3D and 2D, using Solidworks, to support the projects of Design Engineers. Responsibilities: • Create, refine, rebuild, and lead organic shaped 3D CAD models with an elevated level of advanced surfacing for bicycling products. Models may be built from hand sketches, verbal direction or by modifying existing 3D solid/surface models. • Produce highly detailed CAD documentation using Onshape for internal and external review. • Support the design and development needs of Engineering and Industrial Design • Internal use of systems (CAD, PDM, and other computer applications) • Optimally balance multiple projects, responsibilities, and tasks with a focus on meeting customer completion dates. Technical Requirements: • Two years technical degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent. • Two years minimum experience working with 3D CAD modeling software or equivalent. • 2D CAD skills – Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. • Degree in Mechanical Design, Industrial Design, or a related field with an emphasis on Advanced 3D CAD Surface modeling. • Experience working with Onshape software including complex solid & surface modeling skills. • High level Advanced 3D CAD Surfacing; consumer centered design, Class A surfacing preferred. • The ability to translate design intent into a 3D CAD model. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills -able to interact effectively with domestic and international teammates and proactively initiate communications. • Demeanor that fosters continuous improvement and flexibility • Proficient planning and organization skills, initiative, accountability, and meticulous. • Proficient computer database, spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing abilities • Other tools would be a plus: Rhino, Grasshopper, Keyshot, VR/AR tools, Illustrator, and other rendering packages. • We are open to the consideration of this designer being located around Santa Clarita, CA area, where we have an engineering office. • Please share a portfolio or work samples with your resume.

The role is to collaborate with the Trek USA / Europe Product Development teams and our manufacturing partners to engineer & develop world changing new e-bike products for our riders, our retailers. What You Will Do: • Typically, responsible for several smaller projects or 1-2 major projects including new product development and existing product improvements. • Use theoretical calculations, real world use and testing to evaluate performance, structural integrity, and durability of products. • Analyze engineering data for both new product research and troubleshooting existing products. • Evaluate and implement new materials and processes. • Collaborate and communicate project technical details globally between Trek USA headquarters, European development offices, other Asian development offices and our global manufacturing partners. • Represent Trek's best interests as a technical liaison between our global manufacturing partners and Trek USA and Trek Europe development teams. • Work smart to meet timelines. • Minimal travel outside of Taiwan. Description: Trek Bicycle is looking for a dynamic, driven leader who can facilitate all aspects of electrical compliance for our various products. The ability to research, interpret, and create necessary strategies to meet applicable regulations is essential. Must be a self-starter who can identify solutions to the Company’s needs with little instruction. This person will report to the Product Compliance Manager and must be able to work cross-functionally to ensure we successfully meet the relative regulations in requested sales markets. Areas of Focus: • Battery powered ITE-type device compliance • Electric bicycle and component compliance • Wireless (BLE, ANT+) and EMC compliance • Applicable Regulatory manuals, labels, and packaging Specific Skills or Knowledge: • Possess strong investigative research skills and ability to understand regulations and standards • Ability to present legal and technical details to a wide audience • Collaborate with engineering to identify and implement product compliance requirements • Work with global subsidiaries and suppliers in product testing, certification, and type-approval • Assist in coordinating third-party testing in global labs and support investigation of failures • Organize/maintain documentation for compliance (e.g. certifications, test reports, technical files, etc.) • Experience with Radio equipment approvals (FCC, IC, EU RED, KCC, Japan Radio Law, CMIIT, etc.) • Understanding of electrical product safety topics • Experience working with standards development (ASTM, ANSI, IEC, ISO, etc.) • Ability to assist product development teams with compliance budgets and scheduling • Development of compliance strategies to reduce costs and time to market General Skills or Knowledge: • Manage multiple projects at the same time; prioritize and possess a sense of urgency • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle complex issues and provide clear, actional advice • Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and objectives • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) • Possible international travel Training: Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree preferred but will consider candidates with equivalent experience.
