(“PEI”) is looking for an experienced and talented Associate Manager or above, for the management of PEI’s intellectual property and contract. This position will be responsible for the draft of patent specification and claims, working with patent attorney for patent filing, prosecution and maintenance, FTO analysis, management and maintenance of trademark. This position will also provide the support of agreement management for PEI’s drug development projects and others related to IP and contracts. Key Responsibilities • To draft patent specifications and claims and work with internal teams and external partners for application, prosecution and maintenance of PEI’s patents; • To analyze the validity and infringement of patents of PEI and competitors; • To perform freedom-to-operate analysis; • To perform due diligence for PEI’s new projects; • To manage PEI’s trademarks, including filing, prosecution and maintenance; • To analyze the filing strategies for PEI’s intellectual properties; • Responsible for contract management and administration affairs, including SOP updates, archival and routine reports; • To support contract affairs, including drafting, negotiation and finalization; and • To provide supports to legal affairs and others Minimum Qualifications • Master degree or above in organic chemistry, with a law degree for science and technology • Minimum 2 year experience in patent-related tasks • Good organization and analytical skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration • Proactive personality and willing to take the challenges • Good understanding of the legal issues • Willing to learn new skills and knowledge • Capability of problem solving and critical thinking • Good oral communication and written skills, both in Chinese and Engl
